What will you do when the next day you suddenly become a handicapped or an orphanage or homeless or all of a sudden become poor or will never see your beloved family members again....these are some of the situations sichuan victims faces each day after the heartless earthquake strikes...children becomes orphanages...people becomes handicappd, homeless, etc...many people loses their family members...
There is 2 children who become handicapped because of the earthquake...one of them loses both of his arms...and the other loses both of his legs....its either their limbs get amputated or they die....thinking...its better to be alive...they chose to get their limbs amputated....its really so sad...suddenly...i feel that life is really precious...everything changes in A day....
Another case which made me really touched and almost to tears is this mother who protected her infant even after she was injured badly and died...she crouched over her child so that there is space for her child to breathe and also no bricks or things crashing down will injure her child...this magnanimousness of this mother has really touched me....she even left a message in her handphone which said:
亲爱的宝贝，如果你能活，一定要记住我爱你
( translation: Dearest baby, if you are still alive, please remember I Love You)
super touching...really...and the infant girl wasnt injured at all...
All these stories of people being alive is really touching...so why must this natural disaster be so cruel..taking away so many lives... though it may be said to balance the nature...but isnt this too over balancing??....villages get destroyed and become waste land...everything is gone....and even the land get distorted....
The only thing we can do is to donate money, spread love and pray for those victims and hope that this crisis will over soon....

Enough of saddening news.....well tmr i will be having a trial presentation for RWP (report writing presentation)...really nervous...and because its a presentation....so scary...though its only presented to my lecturer and classmates...which i think is much better compared to presenting to MediaCorp......hmmz...
Friday went out with Ida to Heeren, Orchard Cine and Far East....lolx....because we had around 5 hours of free time before going to BP Mentoring club interview....and yea...you have to undergo interview to know if you can joined the club....We bought some stuffs...i finally got the leather bracelet i have been wanting so long ago....hahas....and also an elegant earring from DIVA...due to the sale....im planning to wear it during the wedding dinner....anyway....the interview was pretty scary too....they ask some questions that i do not know how to answer...luckily its a pair interview....so i went in with ida.....with 3 of the club people interviewing us...lolx....hopefully we can both get in...will know it by 31st May...
Saturday went to Bugis with my mum....finally get to change the screen protector of my new handphone....lolx...and also bought a top and a shoe.....=)

Changed Blogskin AGAIN....yepx...decided to change cos cannot stand the old blogskin anymore...its too purplish =_=...though i loved purple very much...but then the contrasting of the colours is not there...do not know why it doesnt look the same as in my photoshop...even the current blogskin im using...the colour of the photo is so different....this photo was actually taken by my Brother when we were at Beijing for holiday...this scenery is sooo beautiful...so i quickly asked my Brother to capture this stunning moment.... "You just have to see a beautiful moment ONCE...yes..ONCE only...and you will be able to remember it FOREVER..." - a translation of a speech made by an actress in a drama...if im not mistaken i think is the Taiwanese drama called <<这里发现爱>> or in English, "Wish To See You Again"...anyway...yep..thats the come about of the photo...
And for the title of this skin "A new Day, A new Beginning"...well i believe everyday is a new beginning...because life is so unpredictable...especially after i see the news on the China and Myanmar earthquake...its really so sad...other than sad...theres nothing much i can do...perhaps donating money?...maybe...but everybody HAS been donating...from celebrities to organizations...etc...and it seems not very helpful..even though people always say...even a little money helps a lot...well it is true...but the end is that...we pity the victims...and feel so sad...why must there be natural disasters...what more can we do?...maybe this little helpless inside me made me want to join BP mentoring club? or maybe not...or maybe just of CCA points...or because my friend joined?...or because im just too bored?...or because I dun wanna go home??....and so...live everyday worthwhile...after a day....you start afresh!!~

2 and a half projects down...and around 5 more to go...or maybe more...lost count!!!??? =S

Im on NEWS!!!~ Yep Chinese news...lolx...first time of my life...appearing on TV and seeing the interview being carried out...also acting as 'backdrop' of the interview...lolx..it was loads of fun...also nervous and stress during the actual presentation....
We have this project of Electronic Maketing(EM) on evaluating xin.sg and Omy.sg of MediaCorp and SPH respectively...this project is done by 2 classes, 4 groups in total..around 10 members each...however only 2 groups are chosen for the presentation to MediaCorp and only around 4 members of each group can present to MediaCorp....so im considered lucky....but really stressful...sleepless nights...sleep late to rush report and powerpoint...we took around 4 weeks to finish researching, editing, and editing and preparing powerpoint and rehearsing and finalising everything till the very last minute....our teachers also had a hard time editing our super lousy English hahahas...anyways...and so...on Monday...we skipped lessons...of cos got LOA...and spent hours rehearsing and editing our ppt and report....our research is basically to compare xin.sg and Omy.sg based on 6Cs, which is capture, content, commerce, credibility, customer orientation and community...these are factors to evaluate either websites or companies..which is what we learn in EM module...also using Internet Value Proposition to compare the 2 websites....
On Monday...2 students were interviewed for Chinese news and 1 student is interviewed for English version...my personal tutor(PT), Mr Ji PengXiang were also interviewed for Chinese news and my EM teacher, Mr Clarence Ng were interviewed for English version...the rest of us were 'backdrops' for the interviews....basically acting like we were discussing our projects...the funniest part was...we were staring at our blank laptops and pointing to the blank screen...but later another video taking was really scanning through xin.sg website...of cos..we were told to do that...hahahas...during the presentation...I was the second group...was really super nervous...but the MediaCorp ppl were not as scary as we thought...our teachers were really impressed by our presentation and our detailed report...really worth the hardwork...the MediaCorp ppl were also very impressed by our research...because we were considered their target audience for the websites...young adults and youths....so they want us to give our suggestions or opinions on the websites so that they can improve on it...which we feel very honored...they even invite us to do site visits at MediaCorp or even have our attachement there....we were of cos happy...=)
However...of all these good news...there is also bad news...we were told that we were exempted from assignment two...but sadly...because MediaCorp and the top management were too impressed by our presentation...we were asked again to do the assignment two...and might have to go down to MediaCorp to present...=_=...so stressed....but then...really good experience and exposure...but then again...really have too much projects to do....though this assignment is not as rush as the 1st one...hopefully...Anyways...my friends dint have time to take photos of us presenting...so....ya...sadly...but xin.sg have updated their news (finally) and have a news and also video that was up on Channel 8 and Channel U news yesterday...

I want to recommend this book...or rather a comic book by a Taiwan girl, Wan Wan or 彎彎 in Chinese or Wan2 for short and Rainie Yang or 楊丞琳 in Chinese. Wan2 is considered a comic artist...she has worked with Ragnarok..designing their cute characters...she has also worked with Yahoo!Auction..designing their free gifts...recently she has worked with Fendi...designing their bag...she already has published 3 comic books...Rainie is a Taiwan artiste..she started in a group band 4-in-love...after that she was well-known in hosting variety show with Jacky Wu...now having her own album...already has 3 albums...she is also a great actress..be it in movie or dramas...
The book name is called Fun Fun馬後炮...and is a comic book featuring Rainie's little secrets..including her love life...in a fun yet enriching way...using Wan2's comics to liven the book...it is also their first time working together...they actually met online...started after Rainie keep blogging Wan2 blog to invite her to work with her...really a cute book...especially with all the cute drawings...

Yesterday was Labour Day...and the day before was Beijing's Oylmpics countdown of 100 days...to commemorate this day...there was a award ceremony of songs created for Beijing Oylmpics and a mini concert of the songs that won the awards...around 100 singers were present that day...ranging from Korean singer, China singer to Hongkong and Taiwan singers...of course...some of my favourite singers are also present...namely Stefanie Sun, FIR and Jay Chou...Stefanie Sun has participated in 3 songs for Beijing's Oylmpics...one of it, 'Beijing Welcome You' is sang with 99 other singers, the other, 'Stand Up' is sang with Jacky Chan and 2 other singers for a movie called 'The One Man Oylmpics' and lastly, 'Light The Passion Share The Dream' with Wang Lee Hom(one version) and other 2 singers(the other version)..there is also a English version...sang by 106 Miss Universe participants...
Of all the songs, I love the 'Light The Passion Share The Dream' the most...really touching song...hmmz...of course the 100 singers song 'Stand Up' is a very great song too...really nice to see so many singers coming together for a song, for Beijing Olympics... =)
